Back Pain

What if you don’t have to live with it?

Do you get out of bed or off a chair like you are 30 or 40 years older than your date of birth suggests? Do you take pain killers or anti-inflammatory medications just to get moving or get through the day? Have you had an injury that has left you feeling like you ‘just have to live with this pain’? Are you thinking ‘one day I’ll probably have to have surgery for it’? or is it just annoying and you feel like there is no point complaining as ‘it’s not THAT bad’ but geez, ‘a bit of relief would be nice’.

One of the most common issues I see is people suffering - often for years on end when they don’t have to. They think their pain isn’t bad enough to warrant seeing someone or that it started because of an injury so they are just going to have to live with it. Often, a thorough assessment reveals some joints not functioning as well as they could and some other areas compensating. Restoring optimal function in the joints can often result in significant pain relief quite rapidly.

Just living with pain instead of seeing if something can be done about it just gives the body time to compensate and cause damage to other areas that may not otherwise have been affected! Don’t get me wrong - some injuries have lasting, and even life long effects but even in those cases, many people still find huge relief from specific Chiropractic adjustments.
